Winter Classes & Small Groups

It's that time again! At Vintage, we place a high value on meeting together in groups because it is our hope that, through groups, people will form long-standing, life-giving relationships with their spiritual family. Our goal is to provide environments in which you can begin building authentic relationships with your fellow Vintage family members while growing deeper in your faith. If you are not already in a small group, please consider joining a class or small group this winter!

Follow THIS LINK for more information about available classes and small groups at Vintage and to sign up! If you have any questions or need help finding the right class or group for you, Scott Crawford would love to speak with you! He may be reached via email at Scott@Vintage242.com.

We are also excited to offer "Hearing God's Voice" for kindergartners through 5th graders at Vintage on Wednesday evenings! "Hearing God’s Voice" is an action-packed time of discipleship where kids learn how to tap into God’s heart and hear His voice in their lives. Each week they will learn three things to know about God voice, hear testimonies from other kids about how God has shown up in their lives, learn how to listen for God, memorize scripture, and learn more about prayer - all while playing games and being with their friends! Contact Ginger Faller at Ginger@Vintage242.com with any questions about “Hearing God’s Voice.”

If you are participating in a Wednesday evening class or small group at Vintage, we are also offering childcare for babies through preschoolers. Please note: Childcare for babies through preschoolers is only available for children whose parents are participating in a Wednesday evening class or group at Vintage, while discipleship for older kids is open to everyone. Click the image to register your children for discipleship and/or childcare.

If you are looking for a simple way to make a difference, consider bringing a meal to be stored at Vintage for a family!

Year End Offering
Dec

9:00 AM09:00

Year End Offering

We began receiving our year end offering Sunday, December 9th and will continue to do so through December 31st. This is distinct from the Rooted Initiative, which began last spring and is a two year vision to invest in the mission of God for our community. Rooted remains our priority, and we thank in advance everyone who plans to fulfill part of your Rooted Initiative pledge in your year end giving! If you are unfamiliar with the Rooted Initiative, follow this link for more information.

Because taking up a year end offering and investing a portion of that outside of Vintage has always been a part of our DNA, our Leadership Team encouraged us to do so again this year. We recognize too that many of you love to give above your regular tithes and offerings towards what God is doing in the context of Vintage at year end. Please feel no compulsion in giving towards the year end offering, though, but simply give as the Lord leads you to give. For more information about where we will invest the year end offering this year, a video message from Steve is available here. Follow this link to give online.

t's not too late to partner with CAYA Ministries as they provide Thanksgiving meals to 500 Paulding County families this Thanksgiving! Please consider helping in any or all of the following ways:

  • Donate financially. Financial donations, made payable to CAYA Ministries, will help cover the cost of the frozen hens and any other canned or boxed items they may need to purchase. Make online donations directly to CAYA Ministries here.

  • Help deliver food bags. CAYA will deliver all 500 food bags Saturday, November 17th. If you would like to help with deliveries, email info@CAYAMinistries.com or call 770-445-9303. CAYA is reserving Abney families for Vintage folks to deliver Thanksgiving baskets to, so email Randel Hambrick at Randel@Vintage242.com to let her know if you have already signed up to help or would like to help! She will give CAYA the names of our people coming to pack and deliver to make sure we're matched with Abney families.

Baptisms

Baptisms

We believe in the power of baptism. It is called a sacrament in the church, which simply means it is an outward sign of a work God has done inside, although it speaks to so much more. It speaks to a life that has turned from sin and has new life in Jesus. It speaks to the cleansing power of God to wash away everything that spiritually cripples us. It speaks to the love of Jesus in his death to make a way for us to know him for eternity. It speaks to our proclamation to the world that we belong to Jesus and our commitment is only to him for the rest of our lives!

If you are a committed follower of Jesus and have not yet been baptized, we would love to celebrate this public declaration with you! Email April at April@Vintage242.com if you're interested in being baptized on Sunday, October 28th.
